Frequently Asked Questions

What are Jeanie Baby products made of?

Our products are made from high-quality 304 stainless steel and LFGB food-grade silicone. It’s
the safest, most durable pairing we could design no toxins, no weird smells, no short lifespan.

Why stainless steel instead of plastic, bamboo, or all-silicone?

Because it performs better.
● Stainless steel is non-porous, so it resists stains and odours—even from tomato or
turmeric.
● It won’t warp, crack, or degrade in the dishwasher or under heat.
● It’s infinitely recyclable and looks premium for years, not months.
Unlike bamboo or plastic, it doesn’t absorb food smells, degrade with cleaning, or carry
safety risks.

Is your silicone safe?

Yes. We only use the highest-quality, platinum-cured silicone that’s BPA-free, phthalate-free,
and meets Australian standards. It’s soft, grippy, and designed for daily use.

How do I clean my Jeanie Baby products?

All of our products are dishwasher-safe. Stainless steel parts can also be wiped clean with a
soft cloth after washing.

Do the bowls and plates have suction bases?

Yes. All bowls and plates have silicone suction bases to help keep them in place during
mealtime.

Can I microwave Jeanie Baby products?

Silicone parts are microwave-safe. Stainless steel parts should not be used in the microwave.

Are your products recyclable?

Stainless steel: 100% recyclable. That’s why we love it.
Silicone: Not curbside recyclable, but we’re working on a take-back option for
responsible disposal.
Jeanie baby products are designed to last for years, not be tossed after months.

Is Jeanie Baby safe for babies to use on their own?

Yes. Our products are designed for babies and toddlers learning to eat on their own, with
easy-grip cutlery and safe materials.

Do you offer gift packaging?

Yes. Our packaging is simple and gift-ready. You can add a gift note at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We currently ship across Australia only, with plans to expand soon.
