Our Story
It started with a group chat and a smelly bowl.
Starting solids is a huge milestone for any first-time mum, and when I started looking into feeding gear for my daughter, I was surprised at what I found.
Most sets were made of silicone. But a few mum friends warned me: silicone absorbs smells from food and dishwasher liquid, stains easily, and can even put babies off eating. Some of their bubs had suddenly gone off their food, and they realised it was the smelly silicone bowl that was to blame.
So I started digging into alternatives.
Plastic was already a no. Bamboo seemed natural, but I was surprised to learn it degrades quickly and often contains melamine.
Then I found stainless steel, and the more I researched, the more it clicked. It’s non-porous, hygienic, doesn’t trap smells, and doesn’t degrade.
It is without a doubt, the safest material our babies could be eating off.
And yet, barely any options existed. My mum group chats were all asking the same thing: “Where are all the stylish stainless steel feeding sets?”
So I decided to make one.
jeanie baby is the feeding range I couldn’t find. Made from premium 304 stainless steel and wrapped in soft, food-grade silicone for suction, comfort and style.
Bowls, plates, cups, cutlery and bibs, all designed with real-life mealtimes in mind.
No smells. No stains. Built to last.
We hope you love it as much as we do.
